Last night I attended the launch of Danger Mouse‘s (in collaboration of the recently departed Sparklehorse) new album Dark Night of the Soul. The album was launch via 50 photographs by David Lynch which intrepreted every track on the album. I’m not a massive fan of David Lynch, however, I was pretty impressed by his photographic eye and vision. Go see it at the Morrison Hotel Gallery.
Dark Night of the Soul included a roll call of guests with Lynch himself, the Flaming Lips, Gruff Rhys, Jason Lytle, Julian Casablancas, Black Francis, Iggy Pop, James Mercer, Nina Persson, Suzanne Vega and the late Vic Chesnutt.
