Today I went to the PS1 warm up party. These music events are housed at the MOMA PS1 Contemporary Art Gallery. All the locals tell me the party is institutional and is a must do for NYC summer. I made sure I didn’t miss out. The unique thing about these parties is that you can wander into the gallery and view the exhibitions. The likes of Afrika Bambaataa, Richie Hawtin, DJ Craze, Fischerspooner, Kid Koala, The Scissor Sisters, Derrick May, Swayzak, Luke Vibert and XPress 2 have all performed there.
